We incorporated computer-to-plate prepress equipment and eliminated the use of film to improve the time, cost and quality of our process.
Copac was recognized as a Top Tag and Label Converter by Package Printing Magazine and has been on the annual list ever since.
Copac established itself as a premier printer of packaging products and received numerous awards from the Tag and Label Manufacturers Institute, Printing Industries of America, PICA and others. Copac continues to receive award recognition from these organizations today.
We installed folding and gluing equipment to support our customers with folding carton needs. Our clients have helped propel this into one of Copac's major product offerings.
We launched our first website and Customer Access, an online account management system for our customers. The site was featured in Package Printing magazine for outstanding e-commerce.

The company name was changed to COPAC, Inc.

Copac, Inc. was founded in Spartanburg, SC under the name of Coordinated Packaging Systems, Incorporated. The company operated a Solna two color offset press and served mainly textile customers.
